Neisseria flavescens JCVIHMP084
Neisseria flavescens is an aerobic, gram-negative diplococci. It is a normal commensal inhabitant of the human oral cavity. It is an opportunistic pathogen in immunocompromised patients. It has been implicated in endocarditis, meningitis, and septicemia. This strain was isolated from human skin.
