Gardnerella vaginalis 409-05
Gardnerella vaginalis is a gram-variable, obligate anaerobic bacterium. The bacterium is most prevalent sexually transmitted organism and associated with bacterial vaginosis. The bacterium has also been associated with bacteremia, urinary track infections, and neonatal meningitis. [Source: 1, 2]
