Micrococcus luteus SK58
Micrococcus luteus, an aerobic, gram-positive coccus typically occuring in tetrads, is a constituent of the normal human buccal bacterial flora Although of low virulence, it may become pathogenic in immunocompromised patients colonizing the surface of heart valves. This strain was isolated from human skin.
