Prevotella melaninogenica ATCC 25845
Prevotella melaninogenica is a gram-negative, anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium that inhabits the oral cavity. The bacterium has many virulence factors including neuraminidase, collagenase, specific immunoglobulin G and IgA proteases, phospholipase A, and hemolysin.
